![]() ![]() Yours would be off limits unless you dropped the advertising. So it's not about what content is at the specific link, it's what the whole site contains. The difference is, that site contains no offering of any product nor service. I do it all the time (especially to Inara Pey's superb Modemworld blog, plug plug plug). So it's perfectly fine to link to external sites. Probably before we get back to the topic, you may want to become familiar with the Forum Guidelines that include this rule: I did edit the post anyway and added an NSFW warning.įeel free to open a new thread if you feel like assembling yet another Caroline-Takeda-Bashing. Yes, you are right an NSFW warning would have been appropriate anyway, even though when you click the link, you get to an age verification page AND an explicit adult content warning first. To get to the adult stuff, you need to navigate within the blog. The content I linked is NOT sexual nor off-topic (Senra Avatars). There are hundreds of links in forum posts to external content. I am unaware that linking to external content is not allowed. The blog also features adverts which is the nature of a professional blog, magazine, or any other professional online media (you can block those, btw). I linked to content, not to an advert, and not to an advertorial, not to a pay-to-play promotion. It's advertising as you well know since you stated so yourself. Linking your blog post (aside from in your signature line) is not allowed. I couldn't care less what you post on your blog. ![]()
